Most of her career was spent in the public and nonprofit sectors, specializing in employee health and wellness. Now, she brings that same passion for helping others feel their best into every head spa service—creating relaxing, rejuvenating experiences that promote balance, scalp health, and overall well-being.
Kumsal Karahan
Kumsal is a licensed cosmetologist with experience in a high-volume salon environment. She is known for her attention to detail, calming presence, and ability to create a truly tailored experience for each guest. Her approach is centered on relaxation, rejuvenation, and delivering a luxurious, results-driven experience that supports both scalp health and overall well-being. Kumsal is passionate about helping each guest unwind while enhancing the natural beauty of their hair. Kumsal is currently undergoing advanced training with Amy at Zyla Head Spa, refining her expertise in our signature head spa treatments. She will be available soon to offer these services, along with full blow dry options to complete your experience.

Rufina is a licensed esthetician with a passion for creating results-driven treatments that restore balance, relaxation, and confidence. Known for her gentle yet firm touch, intuitive care, and attention to detail, she thoughtfully customizes each head spa experience to meet the needs and comfort of every guest. Her background in health sciences and dedication to continued education allow her to support scalp health, circulation, and overall wellness with intention and expertise. As an added indulgence, Rufina offers a deeply relaxing facial massage that seamlessly enhances the head spa experience, leaving guests feeling renewed from scalp to soul. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she brings warmth, professionalism, and care to every Zyla Head Spa experience.
